FREE PUBLIC EVENT SERIES: Regent College and CSCA’s Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal chapters present a lecture series with Loren Wilkinson (emeritus professor of philosophy and interdisciplinary studies at Regent College).

At the Centre of Mysteries: An Introduction to Circles and the Cross

Both the existence of the cosmos, and our consciousness of it are gifts and mysteries. The basic human relationship to these gifts is wonder,  and from wonder have grown the three great trees of human culture: art, science, and religion. This book and lecture are a personal, science-informed exploration of the relationship of those mysteries to an even greater one: that the character of their Creator is most clearly seen in the cross of Jesus.

Loren Wilkinson is emeritus professor of philosophy and interdisciplinary studies at Regent College, a graduate school of Christian studies at the University of British Columbia. For over 50 years he and his wife Mary Ruth have been helping students think about their relationship to Creation.
