Religious Values, Clinical Ethics Consultations, and the Lack of a Secular Bioethical Consensus
Lougheed is a Fellow in Clinical, Organizational, and Research Ethics at the Center for Clinical Ethics which is housed at Unity Health Toronto. He is also an Academic Fellow in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, and a Research Associate in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Pretoria. The presentation on Thursday is hosted by Joshua Harris, philosophy professor at King’s, and a response to it will be offered by Travis Dumsday, a professor in the Philosophy Religious Studies and Classics department of the Concordia University of Edmonton whose research areas include philosophy of science and metaphysics among other things.
