Many believe that Science and the Bible are incompatible. In this lecture, Don Wallar will explore God’s two “revelations,” (a) The Bible and (b) Nature, and he will show how they are not only compatible but reveal a marvellous harmony. Far from being at opposite ends of a spectrum, we will see how the Bible helps us to understand Nature and how Nature helps us to understand the Bible. Since both are provided by the same Author, this should not surprise us.

Don Wallar earned his Master of Science in Medical Biochemistry at the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School (Johannesburg, South Africa) in 1985. He has over thirty years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industries, also doing work as a consultant and trainer in project management. His research background includes Protein Chemistry and Enzymology, Molecular Biology & Immunology, and he has a general knowledge of Cosmology, Astronomy, and Astrophysics. Don is a Certified Apologist and member of the Canadian Board of Directors of Reasons to Believe (an international science & faith think tank), and he regularly speaks at universities, churches, and general public events on issues relating to science and the Christian faith. Don also serves as the president of the Toronto chapter of Reasons to Believe.
